KW Studio is an independent Roblox asset marketplace. KW Studio is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Roblox Corporation.
1. Introduction
These Seller Terms govern the relationship between Kingdoms Way Studio, also operating as KW Studio Digital Asset Marketplace (“KW Studio”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), and any person, brand, studio, team, freelancer, trader, private creator, authorized reseller, agent, or business that applies to sell, lists products, uploads products, submits digital assets, receives marketplace sales, or otherwise uses seller features on KW Studio (“Seller”, “you”, or “your”).
KW Studio operates an independent digital asset marketplace focused on Roblox Studio-related development assets, including maps, models, scripts, systems, user interface assets, vehicles, templates, full game templates, free resources, tutorials, and other downloadable digital products.
By applying to become a seller, accessing seller tools, submitting products, listing products, receiving marketplace sales, or otherwise participating as a seller on KW Studio, you agree to these Seller Terms and to all applicable KW Studio policies.
If you do not agree to these Seller Terms, you must not apply to sell, submit products, list products, receive seller payments, or use seller tools on KW Studio.
2. Related KW Studio Policies
These Seller Terms should be read together with KW Studio’s other marketplace, privacy, delivery, refund, license, reporting, and support policies.

If there is a conflict between these Seller Terms and a more specific KW Studio policy, product-page notice, dashboard rule, seller instruction, or written agreement, the more specific rule may apply to that subject unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
3. Relationship Between KW Studio and Sellers
KW Studio operates as a marketplace platform, hosting and discovery service, digital delivery environment, product moderation system, support routing system, and marketplace operator.
Sellers are independent providers of digital products. Nothing in these Seller Terms creates an employment relationship, agency relationship, partnership, joint venture, franchise relationship, or legal representative relationship between KW Studio and the Seller.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Sellers are independent from KW Studio.
- Sellers are responsible for their own products.
- Sellers are responsible for their own legal compliance.
- Sellers are responsible for their own income, tax reporting, accounting, business registrations, and professional obligations.
- Sellers are not employees, contractors, agents, or representatives of KW Studio.
- Sellers may not represent themselves as official KW Studio staff unless explicitly authorized in writing.
- Sellers may not bind KW Studio to any promise, deal, warranty, refund, service, custom work, legal position, or third-party obligation.
KW Studio may also sell its own digital products on the marketplace. KW Studio-owned products are separate from third-party seller products unless clearly connected by product page information.
4. Seller Age Requirement and Legal Capacity
Sellers must be at least 18 years old.
This rule applies because selling digital products, receiving marketplace payouts, using payment processors, handling buyer support, accepting these Seller Terms, and participating in refund, dispute, legal, tax, or ownership processes require legal capacity and responsible account ownership.
If a development team, studio, or brand includes members under 18, the official seller account holder, contracting party, payout recipient, and responsible representative must still be an adult who is at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these Seller Terms.
KW Studio may request proof of age, identity, account ownership, legal authority, business authority, or payout eligibility where needed for marketplace trust, payment safety, legal compliance, or seller verification.
KW Studio may reject, suspend, restrict, or terminate seller access if age, identity, authority, payment eligibility, or legal capacity cannot be confirmed.
5. Seller Eligibility
Seller access is not automatic. To become or remain a seller on KW Studio, you must meet KW Studio’s eligibility requirements.
You must:
- Provide accurate seller information.
- Use a real and reachable email address.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have the legal right to sell digital products.
- Have the legal right to receive payments through supported payment systems.
- Comply with applicable laws, tax rules, platform rules, payment processor rules, Roblox rules, and KW Studio marketplace policies.
- Provide seller identity, trader status, tax, business, payment, or ownership information when requested.
- Cooperate with KW Studio moderation, safety, support, refund, dispute, verification, and legal review processes.
- Have valid rights to sell every product you submit.
KW Studio may approve, reject, suspend, restrict, or terminate seller access for lawful business, safety, legal, payment, moderation, quality, trust, fraud-prevention, or marketplace-integrity reasons.
Approval as a seller does not guarantee that every submitted product will be accepted.
6. Seller Identity, Trader Status, and Verification
KW Studio may collect, review, verify, and retain seller information to operate the marketplace, comply with legal obligations, support buyer transparency, reduce fraud, handle refunds, process reports, verify ownership, support tax or platform reporting, and maintain marketplace trust.
KW Studio may collect seller information including:
- Full legal name.
- Store name, studio name, or brand name.
- Email address.
- Phone number.
- Country or region.
- Business address, where applicable.
- Business ID, registration number, VAT number, tax number, or equivalent identifier, where applicable.
- Payment account details or payment platform information.
- Trader, private individual, freelancer, studio, business, authorized reseller, or agent status.
- Confirmation that the seller is at least 18 years old.
- Self-certification that products comply with applicable law, Roblox rules, KW Studio rules, and intellectual property requirements.
- Ownership proof, licence proof, resale proof, commission proof, portfolio evidence, development evidence, or other product rights documentation.
- Any additional information reasonably required for legal, tax, payment, identity, fraud-prevention, marketplace safety, or seller verification purposes.
You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date seller information. You must promptly notify KW Studio if your seller information changes.
False, incomplete, misleading, forged, outdated, or unverifiable seller information may result in seller rejection, product removal, payout review where legally and technically available, seller suspension, permanent termination, or legal escalation.
7. Trader Traceability, Freelancer Status, KYB, and Seller Reporting
KW Studio may ask sellers to declare whether they sell as:
- A business seller or trader.
- A registered company or studio.
- A sole trader, freelancer, or self-employed creator.
- A private individual creator.
- An authorized reseller.
- An authorized agent acting on behalf of another creator or business.
KW Studio may conduct Know Your Business (“KYB”), seller verification, trader traceability review, tax reporting review, or enhanced seller review where required by law, marketplace risk, payout volume, seller behavior, product category, buyer complaints, payment issues, ownership concerns, legal concerns, or trust and safety factors.
KW Studio may request business, freelancer, or seller-status information including:
- Business registration documents, where applicable.
- Business ID, VAT number, tax number, or equivalent identifier, where applicable.
- Freelancer, sole trader, or self-employment explanation.
- Proof that the seller is legally allowed to sell digital products.
- Payment account ownership confirmation.
- Invoices, tax-related information, or business records where legally or operationally relevant.
- Confirmation that the seller understands and accepts their own tax and reporting obligations.
- Any other evidence reasonably needed to confirm lawful seller status.
A seller may be able to show that they are a freelancer, self-employed creator, sole trader, or otherwise legally permitted to sell without a registered company in their country. KW Studio may consider the seller’s explanation, country, activity, revenue level, payment structure, legal requirements, and marketplace risk.
KW Studio may collect, verify, retain, and report seller information where required under applicable platform reporting, tax, accounting, DAC7, trader traceability, payment, legal, or marketplace compliance obligations.
If KW Studio reasonably determines that a seller is operating at commercial scale, creates legal or tax uncertainty, or cannot explain their lawful seller status, KW Studio may require additional verification before allowing continued selling, product approval, payout routing, promoted placement, or seller priority status.
8. Public Seller Information and Buyer Transparency
KW Studio has a marketplace structure designed to help buyers understand who they are buying from.
KW Studio may display seller-facing public information on product pages, seller profile cards, seller pages, marketplace collections, search results, category pages, emails, promotional pages, or other marketplace surfaces.
Public seller information may include:
- Store name.
- Store bio.
- Store logo or profile image.
- Seller contact information voluntarily provided for public display.
- Discord server links, social media links, Roblox group links, portfolio links, or website links voluntarily provided for public display.
- Submitted products and product pages.
- Product descriptions, images, videos, tags, categories, and support notes.
- Seller badges, verification labels, priority status, moderation labels, or marketplace status where KW Studio uses them.
- Seller type or trader/business information where legally required or appropriate for buyer transparency.
KW Studio does not generally publish private seller identity verification documents, private payment details, private tax information, internal KYB materials, confidential moderation notes, private ownership proof, or non-public legal records.
However, where applicable law, legal process, dispute handling, intellectual property review, payment processor requirements, consumer protection rules, or marketplace safety requires disclosure, KW Studio may share relevant information with buyers, sellers, rights holders, payment processors, legal advisors, authorities, or other necessary parties.
Sellers must not provide false public seller information or use a store identity that misleads buyers about who they are buying from.
9. Seller Application and Review
Seller access is not automatic. KW Studio may manually review seller applications before allowing access to seller tools or accepting product submissions.
KW Studio may review:
- Seller name, brand name, or store identity.
- Email address and payment-related account information.
- Public reputation and digital footprint.
- Roblox profile, Roblox group, Roblox games, or Roblox development history where provided.
- Portfolio, store, website, Discord, YouTube, social links, or other public links where provided.
- Previous marketplace activity.
- Product examples.
- Ownership proof.
- Seller age, identity, trader status, business status, freelancer status, or payout eligibility.
- Risk indicators, abuse signals, suspicious activity, fake information, or marketplace fit.
- Any other information relevant to marketplace trust, security, product quality, legal compliance, buyer safety, or product suitability.
KW Studio may reject sellers for any lawful reason, including unclear identity, unclear trader status, poor product quality, suspicious ownership, fake information, prior abuse, leak risk, chargeback risk, harmful behavior, poor communication, non-cooperation, legal uncertainty, or poor marketplace fit.
Approval as a seller does not guarantee product approval, sales, promotion, ranking, traffic, or continued seller access.
10. Seller Account and Access Security
Sellers are responsible for maintaining secure access to their email, Payhip account, seller tools, product files, Discord accounts, Roblox accounts, portfolio accounts, payment accounts, and any other accounts used for marketplace activity.
You must not:
- Share seller access with unauthorized persons.
- Use fake identities or misleading brand names.
- Use stolen, purchased, or misleading accounts.
- Create multiple seller accounts to bypass moderation, verification, fees, limits, suspensions, or bans.
- Use another seller’s account without permission.
- Attempt to bypass restrictions, suspensions, or bans.
- Allow a suspended or banned person to control, benefit from, or operate through your seller account.
- Use seller tools in a way that creates fraud, security, identity, enforcement, or legal risk.
Use of a VPN, proxy, privacy tool, or anonymizer is not automatically prohibited. However, KW Studio may restrict or review seller access where such tools are connected to fraud signals, ban evasion, identity uncertainty, chargeback abuse, file leaking, automation, scraping, or other marketplace risk.
KW Studio may restrict seller access if account behavior appears suspicious, unsafe, or inconsistent with these Seller Terms.
11. Seller Product Responsibility
Sellers are fully responsible for every product they submit, list, sell, describe, update, advertise, support, or distribute through KW Studio.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own the product or have full legal rights to sell, license, and distribute it.
- The product does not include stolen, leaked, scraped, copied, or unauthorized assets.
- The product does not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contract, trade secret, database, moral rights, or other rights.
- The product does not include malicious scripts, backdoors, hidden admin access, harmful code, unauthorized data collection, or hidden exploit behavior.
- The product does not falsely claim ownership, originality, quality, features, compatibility, exclusivity, security, support, or Roblox approval.
- The product description, images, videos, tags, title, files, setup notes, previews, and support claims are accurate and not misleading.
- The product complies with KW Studio policies, Roblox rules, payment processor rules, platform rules, and applicable law.
- The product does not intentionally deceive buyers about what they are receiving.
- The product does not create an unreasonable safety, security, privacy, legal, reputational, or marketplace risk.
Sellers remain responsible for product issues even after product approval, listing, sale, promotion, or buyer download.
KW Studio product approval does not transfer seller responsibility to KW Studio.
12. Ownership Proof and Product Verification
KW Studio may request ownership proof before approving a seller, approving a product, keeping a product live, responding to a report, investigating a dispute, reviewing a refund, or resolving an ownership concern.
Ownership proof may include:
- Development screenshots.
- Videos showing the asset inside Roblox Studio.
- Roblox game links.
- Roblox profile or group links.
- Mesh, model, asset, or file history where available.
- Source project evidence.
- Blender, Photoshop, Figma, Roblox Studio, code, or source files where relevant.
- Licence documents.
- Resale licence proof.
- Commission agreement proof.
- Permission from the original creator.
- Purchase records from a lawful source.
- Development process documentation.
- Work-in-progress evidence.
- Git, version history, timestamped files, or other development trail evidence.
- Any other evidence KW Studio reasonably requests.
KW Studio may reject, hide, suspend, or remove a product if ownership proof is missing, unclear, incomplete, suspicious, inconsistent, forged, edited misleadingly, or not provided within a reasonable time.
Providing false, edited, misleading, forged, or incomplete ownership proof may result in permanent seller termination, product removal, payout review where legally and technically available, report to payment processors or platforms where appropriate, and legal escalation.
13. Product Submission Requirements
All product submissions must meet KW Studio quality, safety, legal, and marketplace standards.
Product submissions should include accurate:
- Product title.
- Product description.
- Product category.
- Product images.
- Product videos or previews where relevant.
- Product file contents.
- Setup instructions where needed.
- Compatibility notes where needed.
- Scripted system warnings where needed.
- Included features.
- Known limitations.
- Licence notes.
- Support expectations.
- Price, if applicable.
- Dependencies or third-party requirements.
- Version notes or update notes where relevant.
Products must be submitted in a way that allows buyers to understand what they are purchasing before checkout.
KW Studio may edit, improve, reject, delay, hide, or request changes to product pages where needed for clarity, quality, SEO, marketplace trust, legal compliance, category accuracy, support reduction, or buyer protection.
Sellers must not submit products with the intention of relying on KW Studio to fix, rewrite, repackage, verify, legalize, repair, or complete the product.
14. Product Page Accuracy and Pre-Purchase Information
Sellers must ensure that buyers receive clear and accurate pre-purchase information.
Product pages must not mislead buyers about:
- What files are included.
- What files are not included.
- Whether the product is a full game, template, map, system, script, UI, model pack, vehicle, animation, VFX pack, or learning resource.
- Whether the product is scripted or unscripted.
- Whether setup is required.
- Roblox Studio skill level required.
- Dependencies, plugins, modules, services, external websites, Discord links, APIs, or third-party systems.
- Whether gamepasses, developer products, group IDs, team IDs, API keys, external configuration, or manual setup is required.
- Product compatibility and known limitations.
- Support availability and support boundaries.
- Whether the product includes AI-assisted content.
- Whether the product includes third-party assets.
- Whether attribution is required.
- Whether the product is exclusive, limited, original, resellable, or licensed from another creator.
- Whether buyers can use the product commercially in Roblox experiences.
Sellers must not use fake screenshots, misleading thumbnails, exaggerated claims, fake “complete game” claims, unsupported performance claims, false security claims, false Roblox approval claims, or inaccurate product tags.
If a product page becomes inaccurate, the seller must correct it promptly.
15. Product Quality Standards
KW Studio may reject or remove products that do not meet marketplace quality standards.
Products may be considered unsuitable if they are:
- Broken or unusable.
- Extremely low quality.
- Misleading compared to screenshots, videos, or descriptions.
- Missing important files.
- Missing required setup instructions.
- Excessively unorganized.
- Duplicated spam.
- Unsafe or suspicious.
- Overpriced in a misleading way.
- Built mainly from stolen, leaked, toolbox-scraped, or unauthorized content.
- Designed to exploit, mislead, or harm buyers.
- Not appropriate for KW Studio’s marketplace direction.
- Dependent on unclear third-party systems.
- Submitted only to manipulate SEO, categories, or product volume.
- Not reasonably usable by the intended buyer audience.
Product approval is not a guarantee that KW Studio has fully tested every file, script, model, dependency, ownership claim, legal claim, or compatibility claim.
16. Prohibited Seller Content
Sellers must not submit, upload, list, sell, or distribute products containing:
- Stolen assets.
- Leaked assets.
- Scraped assets.
- Unauthorized resold products.
- Copyright-infringing content.
- Trademark-infringing branding.
- Malware or harmful scripts.
- Backdoors or hidden admin access.
- Unauthorized data collection.
- Exploit tools.
- Scam systems.
- Fake product files.
- Misleading preview images.
- Unlicensed third-party models, music, images, scripts, textures, UI, animations, or other content.
- Content that violates Roblox rules.
- Content that violates applicable law.
- Content that encourages harassment, abuse, hate, fraud, phishing, account theft, token theft, illegal activity, or platform abuse.
- Products designed to bypass Roblox security, moderation, platform rules, or payment systems.
- Products designed to mislead buyers about ownership, originality, quality, support, features, or commercial rights.
KW Studio may remove prohibited content immediately and may preserve evidence for legal, fraud, moderation, payment, or enforcement purposes.
17. Script, File, and Security Requirements
KW Studio manually reviews seller access and product submissions to reduce marketplace risk. Sellers understand that not only sellers but also submitted products may be reviewed manually before approval or after reports.
Sellers must not submit products containing or enabling:
- Backdoors.
- Hidden admin access.
- Remote code abuse.
- Unauthorized data collection.
- Token theft, account theft, credential theft, or session theft.
- Phishing.
- Obfuscated malicious logic.
- Forced off-platform redirects.
- Hidden payment prompts.
- Roblox password collection.
- Exploit loaders.
- Systems designed to bypass Roblox security.
- Unclear third-party dependencies.
- Malicious Discord webhook logging.
- Silent logging of buyer, player, game, or account data without clear lawful basis and disclosure.
- Scripts that secretly grant seller access to buyer games.
- Code designed to disable, damage, hijack, or manipulate buyer projects.
- Files that contain viruses, malware, spyware, keyloggers, grabbers, or harmful executables.
- Any hidden function materially different from what the product page describes.
KW Studio may require sellers to provide readable source code, setup documentation, dependency explanations, or security clarification before approval or after a report.
KW Studio may reject or remove products if scripts are obfuscated, suspicious, unclear, unsafe, undocumented, or impossible to reasonably review.
18. Roblox Compliance
KW Studio is independent from Roblox Corporation and does not control Roblox rules, moderation, publishing requirements, DevEx eligibility, age rating rules, monetization rules, search/discovery systems, or platform enforcement.
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that products they sell are suitable for lawful Roblox Studio use and do not encourage buyers to violate Roblox rules.
Sellers must not submit products that:
- Require Roblox account passwords.
- Bypass Roblox security systems.
- Violate Roblox intellectual property, creator rules, marketplace rules, or community standards.
- Mislead buyers about Roblox approval or official status.
- Claim endorsement by Roblox unless legally true.
- Use Roblox branding in a misleading or unauthorized way.
- Contain systems designed to exploit Roblox users or games.
- Depend on unauthorized internal Roblox access.
- Encourage buyers to violate DevEx, monetization, advertising, age rating, paid random item, or user safety rules.
Product approval by KW Studio does not mean Roblox has approved the product.
19. Product Licensing to Buyers
Products sold through KW Studio must be compatible with the KW Studio Digital Asset License unless a product page states additional product-specific terms approved or allowed by KW Studio.
The buyer license is published at:
https://kwstudio.org/digital-asset-license
Sellers must ensure that their product pages do not mislead buyers about commercial use, editing, team use, redistribution, resale, exclusivity, attribution, or product-specific licence limits.
Sellers may provide stricter or additional product-specific licence terms only if those terms are clearly stated before purchase and do not conflict with mandatory law, Payhip terms, payment processor rules, consumer protection rules, or core KW Studio marketplace rules.
If a product-specific licence conflicts with KW Studio’s core anti-leak, anti-redistribution, anti-resale, buyer protection, or marketplace safety rules, KW Studio may reject or remove the product or require the seller to correct the listing.
20. Seller Permission to KW Studio
By submitting a product, product page, image, video, description, file, brand name, logo, seller profile, support note, documentation, or other seller material to KW Studio, you grant KW Studio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, market, index, promote, review, moderate, modify formatting, deliver, distribute to buyers, support, preserve, and otherwise operate the product through the KW Studio marketplace.
This permission allows KW Studio to:
- Display product pages.
- Show product images and previews.
- Use product names in marketplace navigation and SEO.
- Include products in categories, collections, landing pages, recommendations, ads, emails, social posts, tutorials, or marketplace pages.
- Deliver purchased files to buyers.
- Review files for moderation, safety, and support.
- Preserve records for legal, accounting, refund, enforcement, safety, or dispute purposes.
- Remove, hide, restrict, or edit products when required.
- Continue supporting past buyers where necessary.
This permission continues for as long as needed to operate the marketplace, support past buyers, preserve legal records, handle disputes, process refunds, maintain accounting records, comply with legal obligations, or enforce rights.
21. Pricing, Fees, and Marketplace Commission
Unless otherwise agreed in writing or shown in seller onboarding materials, KW Studio’s standard marketplace commission structure is a total platform commission of 30% of the product sale price, made up of a 10% platform fee and a 20% marketplace marketing and growth fee.
The seller’s standard share is 70% before any applicable payment processor fees, tax handling, refunds, chargebacks, currency conversion, payment holds, or payment provider adjustments.
KW Studio may charge marketplace fees, platform fees, marketing fees, service fees, payment processing fees, boost fees, promotion fees, or other fees connected to seller activity.
The current fee structure may be shown in seller onboarding materials, seller dashboard information, private seller instructions, written communications, or marketplace policy pages.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Sellers are responsible for understanding the fee structure before listing products.
- Payment processors may charge additional fees.
- Currency conversion, payment holds, chargebacks, refunds, and processor fees may affect seller earnings.
- KW Studio may update seller fees, commission structure, marketing fees, payout rules, boost rules, or seller program terms with notice where appropriate.
- Continued use of seller tools after fee changes means acceptance of the updated fee structure.
KW Studio may offer priority seller programs, promoted placement, paid boosts, seller tags, marketing packages, limited product programs, or other optional seller opportunities under separate terms.
Sellers must not attempt to circumvent KW Studio fees by using KW Studio product pages, traffic, leads, buyer contacts, seller tools, or marketplace exposure to redirect buyers into off-platform transactions for the same or substantially similar product.
22. Payments, Checkout, VAT, and Payouts
KW Studio may use third-party platforms such as Payhip and supported payment processors to process orders, calculate taxes, collect payments, split payments, deliver files, and support marketplace payouts.
Customer-facing VAT, sales tax, or digital product tax collection may be handled through KW Studio’s Payhip-powered checkout and payment provider settings where applicable. KW Studio aims to ensure that customers are charged required VAT or tax at checkout where the checkout provider determines it is required.
Payhip or other checkout providers may automatically calculate, collect, report, or remit certain VAT, sales tax, or digital product tax amounts depending on the buyer’s location, the product, the checkout configuration, and applicable provider rules.
This does not make KW Studio responsible for the seller’s own income taxes, business taxes, personal taxes, VAT obligations on seller income, accounting, business registration duties, or local reporting obligations.
Depending on the system used, payments may be processed directly through third-party services. KW Studio may not control every part of seller payout timing, payment holds, refund execution, processor decisions, disputes, account limitations, or payout availability.
Sellers are responsible for:
- Maintaining a valid payment account.
- Following Payhip, PayPal, Stripe, bank, card network, and payment processor rules.
- Providing correct payout information.
- Handling tax reporting and accounting.
- Monitoring chargebacks, disputes, fees, processor reviews, and payment holds.
- Understanding how split payments, marketplace fees, processor fees, currency conversion, refunds, or chargebacks affect earnings.
- Keeping payout accounts secure and legally authorized.
KW Studio is not responsible for delays, holds, restrictions, freezes, reversals, failed payouts, payment account limitations, or payment processor decisions caused by Payhip, PayPal, Stripe, banks, card networks, buyer disputes, processor review, legal requirements, seller account issues, or incorrect seller information, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
23. Marketplace Payment Splits and Seller Refund Liability
KW Studio may use automated split-payment, marketplace payout, Payhip collaboration, PayPal, or other payment-provider-supported systems to distribute marketplace transaction proceeds between KW Studio and the seller.
If a refund, chargeback, payment reversal, buyer dispute, fraud claim, legal claim, or other transaction reversal is approved, validated, required by law, required by a payment provider, or determined appropriate under KW Studio marketplace rules, the seller is financially responsible for the seller’s share of the reversed transaction.
The seller authorizes KW Studio and its connected checkout, payout, and payment providers to debit, reverse, offset, deduct, or recover the seller’s share of refunded or reversed transactions from the seller’s connected payment account, available payout balance, future marketplace earnings, or other legally and technically available recovery method.
If the seller’s available balance is insufficient, the seller account may enter a negative balance or repayment obligation until the reversed amount is reconciled. KW Studio may restrict seller payouts, product visibility, seller access, promoted placement, seller priority, seller badges, or marketplace privileges until refund, chargeback, or reversal obligations are resolved.
Sellers must cooperate with refund reviews, payment disputes, chargebacks, buyer complaints, product defects, misleading listing issues, ownership disputes, unsafe-file reports, and other transaction-related investigations.
This section does not limit mandatory consumer rights, payment provider rules, tax obligations, accounting obligations, legal claims, or KW Studio’s right to take enforcement action under these Seller Terms.
24. Refunds, Chargebacks, and Buyer Remedies
KW Studio sells digital content through a marketplace structure. Refund handling may depend on applicable consumer law, payment processor rules, Payhip rules, seller cooperation, product issue, download status, buyer evidence, product description, and marketplace tools.
Sellers agree that KW Studio may review refund requests, buyer complaints, delivery failures, duplicate purchases, corrupt files, misleading product claims, missing files, legal issues, or other product problems.
Sellers may be responsible for refunds, replacements, file corrections, support responses, product updates, or other remedies where:
- The file is missing.
- The wrong file was uploaded.
- The product is corrupt or unusable.
- The product page materially misrepresented the product.
- The seller lacked rights to sell the product.
- The product violates law or marketplace rules.
- Mandatory consumer law requires a remedy.
- A payment processor reverses or refunds a transaction.
- The buyer has not downloaded the file and download access can be terminated under the Refund Policy.
- KW Studio determines that buyer protection or marketplace integrity requires action.
If a buyer has not downloaded the purchased file and KW Studio or the checkout provider can successfully terminate or disable the download page or access, the buyer may be eligible for a 100% refund under KW Studio’s Refund Policy.
Sellers must cooperate with refund reviews. KW Studio may request a seller response, corrected file, replacement file, setup clarification, ownership proof, delivery confirmation, or explanation.
Sellers should respond to refund-related and serious product-related requests within a reasonable time, generally within 2 to 5 business days unless KW Studio specifies a different deadline.
Sellers must not pressure buyers to avoid official refund, report, dispute, or support channels. Sellers must not retaliate against buyers for requesting support, refund review, product review, or legal review.
KW Studio may issue, request, support, or recommend refunds, partial refunds, store credit by agreement, replacements, product corrections, product removals, or download restrictions where appropriate.
Sellers are responsible for any chargebacks, disputes, payment reversals, processor fees, or losses connected to their products where caused by product issues, seller misconduct, rights violations, fraud, unsafe files, false claims, missing files, or failure to comply with these Seller Terms.
This section does not limit mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
25. Taxes, Accounting, DAC7, and Financial Responsibility
Sellers are solely responsible for taxes, reporting, invoices, accounting, income declarations, VAT obligations on their own seller income where applicable, business registration, freelancer registration, self-employment obligations, and any other financial obligations related to their seller activity.
KW Studio does not provide tax, accounting, legal, financial, or business-registration advice.
Sellers should consult a qualified professional if they are unsure about their obligations, especially if they:
- Sell across borders.
- Receive recurring income.
- Reach meaningful monthly revenue.
- Operate as a freelancer or business.
- Receive payouts through Payhip, PayPal, Stripe, or another payment processor.
- Are unsure whether they need a business registration, VAT registration, tax filing, or accounting process.
- Sell products as part of a studio, group, brand, or team.
KW Studio may collect, verify, retain, and report seller information, transaction information, payout information, refund information, chargeback information, seller fees, net seller amounts, account details, country, tax identifiers, business identifiers, or other required information where necessary for DAC7, platform reporting, tax reporting, accounting, legal compliance, payment processing, fraud prevention, or marketplace integrity.
Sellers must provide accurate tax, business, trader, freelancer, payment, and identity information when requested.
Failure to provide required information may result in seller access restriction, product restriction, payout delay where legally and technically available, or seller termination.
KW Studio may request additional verification if seller earnings, activity, or behavior suggests that tax, business, KYB, payout, or legal questions need review.
26. Seller Support Obligations
Sellers are expected to provide reasonable product-specific support for their products.
Product-specific support may include:
- Answering basic setup questions.
- Clarifying included files.
- Helping with missing documentation.
- Correcting wrong or broken uploads.
- Explaining product limitations.
- Updating product files where needed.
- Responding to buyer questions in a professional manner.
- Cooperating with KW Studio support when a buyer issue is escalated.
- Providing proof or clarification where a product appears misleading, broken, unsafe, or incomplete.
Sellers are not required to provide unlimited custom development, free scripting work, custom installation, major modifications, personal tutoring, or unrelated Roblox Studio training unless the seller separately promises those services on the product page or in a written agreement.
Sellers must not ignore serious buyer issues, legal complaints, missing files, broken files, unsafe-file concerns, refund reviews, or KW Studio moderation requests.
Poor seller support, repeated complaints, unprofessional communication, delayed responses, failure to cooperate, or failure to correct serious product issues may result in product restriction, lower seller priority, payout review where legally and technically available, seller suspension, product removal, or marketplace termination.
27. Product Updates and Maintenance
Sellers are responsible for maintaining product accuracy and correcting serious product issues.
Sellers should update products when:
- A critical file is missing.
- A product is broken.
- A product description is no longer accurate.
- A setup instruction is required but missing.
- A script needs correction.
- A legal issue must be resolved.
- A buyer-impacting problem is confirmed.
- A safety or privacy issue is identified.
- A product dependency changes.
- KW Studio requests an update for marketplace compliance.
KW Studio may remove, hide, pause, or restrict outdated, broken, misleading, unsafe, or unsupported products if the seller does not respond or correct the issue.
Sellers are not required to provide lifetime updates unless promised on the product page.
If a seller promises updates, lifetime support, future features, limited copies, exclusivity, custom help, or ongoing maintenance, the seller must honor that promise or update the product page clearly before future purchases.
28. Product Removal and Buyer Access
Sellers may request product removal, but KW Studio may preserve records, product information, buyer access, and download history where necessary for legal, support, refund, delivery, accounting, moderation, or dispute purposes.
If a product is removed:
- New sales may stop.
- Existing buyer access may continue where legally and technically appropriate.
- KW Studio may retain product records for compliance.
- KW Studio may preserve evidence if the removal relates to legal, moderation, ownership, safety, or enforcement issues.
- KW Studio may restrict or revoke access if the product is unlawful, infringing, unsafe, malicious, or otherwise problematic.
- KW Studio may provide replacement, refund review, store credit by agreement, or support routing where appropriate.
Sellers may not remove products in a way that intentionally harms buyers who already purchased them.
Sellers may not use product removal to avoid refunds, ownership disputes, product reports, chargebacks, moderation review, or legal claims.
29. Product Reports, DMCA, and Ownership Disputes
KW Studio takes intellectual property, ownership, resale licence, unsafe file, misleading product, and leaked asset concerns seriously.
Reports may be submitted through the Report Product / DMCA page:
https://kwstudio.org/report-product-kw-studio
Reports may also be sent to:
If a product receives an ownership complaint, DMCA notice, licensing report, unsafe-file report, product abuse report, or similar legal concern, KW Studio may:
- Hide the product.
- Pause sales.
- Restrict downloads.
- Contact the seller.
- Request ownership proof.
- Request resale licence proof.
- Request development evidence.
- Request code, file, dependency, or safety clarification.
- Forward relevant information where legally appropriate.
- Preserve evidence.
- Issue or support buyer remedies where appropriate.
- Terminate seller access.
- Take other legal, safety, payment, or marketplace action.
Sellers must cooperate promptly with KW Studio in ownership disputes, legal reports, safety reports, and moderation investigations.
Failure to provide convincing ownership proof or safety clarification may result in permanent product removal, seller suspension, account termination, loss of seller privileges, payout review where legally and technically available, or legal escalation.
Sellers are responsible for losses, claims, costs, damages, refunds, chargebacks, legal disputes, or marketplace harm caused by infringing, stolen, leaked, unauthorized, unsafe, malicious, falsely described, or illegally sold products.
30. Moderation Process, Review, and Seller Appeals
KW Studio may use a structured moderation process when reviewing product reports, legal reports, safety reports, buyer complaints, refund issues, seller conduct, and product quality concerns.
A common review process may include:
- KW Studio receives a report, complaint, refund issue, legal notice, safety concern, or moderation signal.
- KW Studio may hide, pause, restrict, or remove the product during review.
- KW Studio may contact the seller and request proof, explanation, files, source materials, ownership evidence, safety clarification, or product corrections.
- The seller must respond within the deadline provided by KW Studio or, if no deadline is stated, within a reasonable time.
- KW Studio may uphold, reject, or partially accept the report or complaint.
- KW Studio may take action including product edits, product removal, seller warning, refund review, seller suspension, buyer remedy, or permanent seller termination.
- KW Studio may provide an explanation where appropriate or required.
- The seller may request review of certain enforcement decisions.
- Repeat or severe violations may lead to permanent seller removal.
KW Studio may take immediate action without prior notice where necessary to protect buyers, sellers, rights holders, payment systems, platform security, marketplace integrity, or legal interests.
A seller appeal or review request does not guarantee reversal of the original decision. KW Studio may reject abusive, duplicate, bad-faith, threatening, or unsupported review requests.
31. AI-Assisted Products
AI-assisted products may be allowed only where they comply with applicable law, intellectual property rules, Roblox requirements, KW Studio rules, and marketplace quality standards.
Sellers must not submit AI-assisted products that:

- Copy recognizable protected characters, brands, artworks, music, logos, or designs without authorization.
- Misrepresent human-made, original, exclusive, or commissioned status.
KW Studio may reject, remove, label, restrict, or request disclosure for AI-assisted products at its discretion.
Sellers remain responsible for ensuring that AI-assisted products are lawful, sufficiently original where required, properly licensed, and accurately described.
32. Seller Conduct and Off-Platform Conduct
Sellers must act professionally toward buyers, KW Studio staff, other sellers, rights holders, and third parties.
Sellers must not:
- Harass buyers or staff.
- Threaten legal action in bad faith.

- Direct buyers away from KW Studio to avoid marketplace fees for the same or substantially similar listed product.
- Use KW Studio to promote fraud, malware, stolen content, or illegal activity.
- Knowingly publish false or misleading claims about KW Studio, buyers, sellers, reports, moderation actions, products, refunds, or legal issues.
- Impersonate KW Studio staff, Roblox staff, rights holders, buyers, or other sellers.
- Use off-platform communication to pressure buyers, avoid official report routes, hide product issues, or mislead buyers.
This does not prevent lawful, honest feedback or legally protected communication.
Sellers may link official social media, Discord, websites, portfolios, or Roblox groups where allowed by KW Studio, but those links must not be used for scams, fee circumvention, unlawful resale, buyer harassment, data misuse, or unsafe file distribution.
KW Studio may act on off-platform seller conduct where it affects buyers, KW Studio, marketplace trust, product safety, legal compliance, payment disputes, or seller reliability.
33. Seller Marketing Claims
Sellers must ensure that product and store claims are honest, accurate, and supportable.

Sellers must correct misleading claims promptly when identified.
34. Buyer Data and Seller Privacy Obligations

Sellers may use buyer data only for:

Sellers must promptly notify KW Studio if they suspect buyer data has been lost, exposed, misused, breached, accessed without authorization, or sent to the wrong party.
Sellers are responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws. KW Studio may restrict seller access if buyer data is misused.
Depending on how a seller processes buyer or support data, the seller may have independent data protection responsibilities. Sellers should review the Seller Privacy Policy and obtain professional advice where needed.
35. Confidential Information
Sellers may receive non-public information about KW Studio, buyers, seller tools, moderation processes, future features, marketplace strategy, disputes, reports, legal cases, product reviews, payment issues, or other sellers.
