Buyer guidance

Understand and test the asset before publishing

A Roblox map, scripted system, model pack and complete game template solve different development problems. Buyers should identify the product type and expected setup before checkout or download.

Scripted system

Adds functionality such as shops, inventories, doors, menus, weapons or data systems. Configuration and testing are commonly required.

Complete game template

Combines several connected parts into a broader foundation. Buyers still need to customize branding, IDs, gameplay and monetization before release.

Model or asset pack

Provides individual objects or themed collections such as buildings, vehicles, props, uniforms, interiors or environment details.

1 Import the product into a separate Roblox Studio test project before adding it to a live game. For saving systems, use a separate test experience with test data.
2 Review folders, models, scripts, ModuleScripts, RemoteEvents, interfaces and configuration objects.
3 Replace group, animation, gamepass, developer-product, image and other project-specific IDs.
4 Test desktop and mobile behavior, collisions, permissions, performance and missing dependencies.
5 Compare the delivered file with the product description, screenshots, feature list and seller notes.
6 Contact the seller for product-specific questions and KW Studio for marketplace support or escalation.

Technical limitation: marketplace moderation reduces risk, but it is not an exhaustive line-by-line security audit of every script. Buyers should inspect and test files before public use.

Seller standards

How seller and product review works

KW Studio combines seller applications, public seller context, product review and ownership evidence to reduce marketplace risk. Seller approval does not bypass product moderation.

Human product approval

Every public product submission requires human approval, including products submitted by established or trusted sellers.

Ownership evidence

Evidence may include source files, development screenshots, project history, mesh IDs, group ownership context, licences or valid resale permission.

What product moderation reviews The submitted file, listing quality, seller background, ownership evidence and connected payment information where relevant.
What approval does not mean Approval does not guarantee that every product fits every project or that every script has received an exhaustive security audit.
What happens after reports KW Studio may request evidence, restrict a listing during investigation, remove products or apply seller-account restrictions.

Reports and copyright

Report copied assets, unsafe files or misleading listings

Serious ownership, copyright and product-safety concerns use a dedicated report route. Ordinary order and setup questions should use customer support instead.

Legal and ownership reports can also be sent to legal@kwstudio.org. General marketplace support uses help@kwstudio.org.

Free products

Free Roblox assets still require review and testing

Free products help developers test marketplace delivery, prototype ideas and learn Roblox Studio workflows. A zero purchase price does not remove setup, licence or technical responsibilities.

Prototype faster

Free maps, systems, interfaces and models can support early concepts before larger premium purchases.

Report problems normally

Broken, copied, misleading or unsafe free files can be reported through the same marketplace support routes.

Platform relationship

How KW Studio works with Roblox Studio assets

KW Studio provides downloadable digital files outside the Roblox platform. Buyers manually import, configure and test those files inside Roblox Studio.

Downloadable files Products are delivered as digital resources intended for manual use inside Roblox Studio.
No Roblox account access KW Studio does not retrieve user inventories, inject files into experiences or require access to Roblox accounts.
No Robux processing Marketplace checkout does not process Robux. Payments and digital delivery use external commerce infrastructure.
Buyer responsibility Users remain responsible for Roblox compliance, project-specific configuration and how downloaded assets are used.
